Just over 27 hours after the lights went out in a large section of the Komani CBD, the power has been restored.
A cable fault had been indicated as the cause of the power outage, which followed at about 10am on Monday.
Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesman Fundile Feketshane confirmed a short while ago that the power supply had been restored.
