The Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality has indicated that refuse removal in the area is set to remove after the return of trucks which were scheduled to be sold on auction.
The looming auction followed a claim on the payment of outstanding monies of R1.7-million by Siyahluta Developers for the construction of RDP houses in the former Lukhanji municipal area.
EMLM spokesman Fundile Feketshane said that the attached trucks would be released today as the municipality had won the case against Siyahluta.
Refuse removal should improve hereafter.
