The power in sections of the CBD remained off this moirning after loadshedding was applied yesterday to assist with a power outage in Westbourne.
Little information is known about the current electricity situation but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available. Several people have expressed concern over the situation which has left various areas in and around the town without power since Tuesday.
Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesman Fundile Feketshane said there had been “some disruptions on the electrical front” and said The Rep would be kept updated on any developments.
