The transformer which is expected to restore power to the Westbourne residential area has been loaded for transport to Komani.
Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality spokesman Gcobani Msindwana sent through this photo this morning, indicating that it has not yet arrived in Komani.
While EMLM administrator Vuyo Mlokoti said earlier this week that power would be restored today to the affected areas of Westbourne, Kings Park, Madeira Park and Robinson Road, which has been without electricity since last Tuesday. The Rep has not at this time had confirmation whether this will definitely happen.
