The Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) is busy removing refuse with the two trucks it currently has at its disposal.
The Rep has requested a refuse removal schedule but this has not yet been received.
EMLM spokesman Gcobani Msindwana confirmed that refuse removal was underway.
This follows a period of delayed collections. Some of the CBD streets were cleared of refuse this morning.
