Two arrested as Stutt protest continues

 

 

Two suspects have been arrested for public violence in Stutterheim.

Police spokesperson Captain Siphokazi Mawisa said two supsects, aged 30 and 39, were taken into custody this morning after protests blocked the main road with refuse and dustbins. They then threatened the business owners to close their shops.

Police shot rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. Police are monitoring the situation.
