Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality acting communications manager, Gcobani Msindwana, has indicated that a power outage affecting residents at Winterberg Street in Top Town is due to faulty and rotten cables. Msindwana has confirmed that electricians were on site to replace the cables.
“Our technical services department and a contractor are repairing the faulty cables. Power will be restored soon.” he said
