Day Zero is a serious possibility for Chris Hani, the district municipality has confirmed.
CHDM engineering director Luzuko Govu recently announced the prospect of Day Zero at a CHDM representative forum meeting.
Govu said this was the worst drought experienced in Chris Hani and that five local authorities in its district were faced with the possibility of no water at all, considering the fact that Waterdown Dam, pictured, was at 18.8%.
