After a morning bustle that had the CBD crawling with residents, mostly social grant recipients, things have quietened down in Komani this afternoon.
The main Cathcart Road currently has more cars than people and only a few residents can be spotted at ATMs and the area near the post office.
The situation at Nonesi Mall is slightly different with stores including Clicks, Checkers and Pick n Pay’s implementation of the social distancing rule resulting in queues outside the stores
