A Komani resident spotted this tortoise yesterday wandering in Prince Alfred Street.
The reptile seemingly tried to cross the road or navigate its way home. However, it is unknown if it managed to escape speeding cars and safely returned to its owner.
SPCA chairperson, Adele Rangers, advised anyone who came across the animal to take it to the local nature reserve.
