Fed-up residents are currently at Emalahleni Local Municipality offices calling on mayor Nontombizanele Koni, municipal manager Velile Makedama, and chief financial officer Xolani Sikoti to vacate their positions with immediate effect. They accuse the trio of irregular expenditure and tender corruption. The residents also demanding lifestyle audits for the officials.
