Golf starts on a high note

KEEN on a spot of golf?
The Queenstown Golf Club has several upcoming events which are sure to tantalise both aspiring and established golfers at the start of the year.
Tomorrow the golf club will host the first of three qualifying events for the Windhoek Lager international pairs competition. The winners will go on to the next qualifying events, which will be hosted elsewhere in the Eastern Cape. The final winners have an opportunity to go to Spain.
The other qualifying events will take place on February 11 and March 18.
The next highly anticipated event is the Girls’ High School golf day on January 21 and the good news is that there are still placed available for those interested in playing, and there are excellent prizes on offer.
On February 18, the Friends of Madeira will host their annual golf day, a fundraiser in aid of the Madeira Old Age Home, so please support this good cause.
