Taxi trial postponed

Date:

THE murder trial of three men, accused of causing a Toyota Avanza to crash near Komani, leaving the driver and three passengers dead in July 2014, has been postponed in the Komani magistrate’s court.

The Rep reported (“Accused in court as taxi trial continues” October 21, 2016) that the three men had appeared on charges of chasing a Toyota Avanza after the latter vehicle’s driver had allegedly refused to offload passengers he had picked up in Cathcart Road.

The Avanza collided with another vehicle outside Komani.

The state is represented by Advocate Nceba Ntelwa and the defense by advocate Andre Dorfling with the regional court magistrate Fungile Dotwana presiding. The case will continue on April 7.
