Two occupants of a Mercedes Benz died following a collision with a truck on the N2 between Komga and East London on Saturday morning.
Police spokesman Captain Nkosikho Mzuku said a case of culpable homicide was under investiation after the two vehicles collided.
Both occupants of the Mercedes Benz, aged 31 and 32, died on the scene.
The cause of the accident is not known.
