CATHCART police doing patrols on farms in the district were in for a surprise when they stopped a Toyota Tazz on Saturday night.
Police spokeswoman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said six sheep were found shoved into the vehicle.
The find follows amid growing concern over stock theft in the Cathcart area.
Two suspects were arrested on stock theft charges and are set to appear in the Cathcart Magistrate’s Court.
