Man dies after night out with friends

A 38 year-old man was stabbed to death in Molteno over the weekend. A statement by police spokeswoman captain Namhla Mdleleni, indicated the deceased was allegedly coming from a tavern with friends when an altercation ensued.

 

“The deceased was stabbed and taken to hospital where he later died. A case of murder has been opened and no arrests have been made yet.”

 

Mdleleni said police condemn​ed the abuse and killing of women and children in communities and that perpetrators ​would be brought to book
