Fun run with dash of colour

FOLLOWING their previous highly successful runs, the Friends of Madeira will again host a Chameleon Run on Saturday September 24 at 8am, when everyone can join in and get themselves brightly coloured.

It’s a fun run and along the route there are various places where participants are pelted with bright paint powder, with the result that by the time they have finished, they really do look like chameleons. Runners are advised to wear light-coloured, old clothing and sunglasses just in case. However, the powder is not harmful and should wash out quite easily afterwards.

Tickets are R50 each and are available before the time from Queenstown Harriers, Bali Homes or Van Oosten Realty or on the morning of the race from 7am at Madeira.

It’s great fun, so buy your ticket and get along to Madeira so you can support a good cause at the same time.
