The Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality (EMLM) has indicated that work will be carried out on several substations in the area over the next couple of weeks. Some power outages can be expected.
EMLM spokesman Fundile Feketshane said the areas to be affected and the dates are:
In Ebden Street, work is expected on the substation on May 23.
In Queendustria, work is expected to be done on two transformers on May 24 with the work expected to be complete by May 25.
In Mlungisi, work will be done between June 3 and June 7 while in the Western areas of Komani, work will be carried out on substations between June 9 and 13.
