
DA MP Terri Stander visited Komani Hospital on Friday morning to check on maintenance issues that had been reported to her by hospital staff.
Staff and patients at the hospital indicated there had been no hot water for more than six months after the boiler that feeds the wards had allegedly stopped working.
Stander has since indicated in a press release that other issues at the hospital include a severe shortage of nurses and medicine and a lack of cleaning staff.
