Ezingqolweni residents gathered in front of the Lady Frere magistrate’s court earlier today to oppose the bail applications of six men arrested this week for brutal killings in the Cacadu-based village.
The six will return for their second appearance on April 6. The victims were mainly elderly community members. All in all 11 killings occurred in the area between December 2020 and July 2021.
