After a week without power, the hum of generators have stopped in Ebden, Grey and Prince Alfred Streets in the Komani CBD.
Power was restored to the area late yesterday evening, bringing relief after an extended outage which started last Tuesday and was the result of a cable fault.
A section of Westbourne, Madeira and Kings Park remain affected by a transformer problem which is due to be replaced. The time frame for when the power will be restored in said area is not known.
